There are moments in a brand’s journey that leave an imprint far deeper than any sales figure or social media metric. For us at Love, Indus, one such moment was returning to QVC — this time with our innovative Freedom of Expression Line Limiter. Seeing our founder, Surbhee Grover, once again speak directly to thousands of viewers, sharing the story behind our brand and this powerful product, was more than just a business milestone — it was a moment filled with emotion and immense pride.
But what many don’t see is everything that leads up to those few minutes on screen. Behind that effortless glow and polished presentation lies weeks of planning, rehearsing, designing, and dreaming.
Crafting the Moment: From Vision to Reality
Our preparation began well before the cameras started rolling. The goal was clear: to create a setting that authentically reflected both the product and the essence of Love, Indus.
Selecting the right venue played a big role. We aimed for a space that felt refined and welcoming—modern in its aesthetic but still rooted in the cultural nuances that inspire our brand. From props and lighting to the smallest decorative touches, every detail was deliberately chosen to reflect our signature fusion of heritage and contemporary luxury.
Much of the final visual impact came down to the talent and coordination of our behind-the-scenes team. From advisors and decorators who aligned with our brand identity, to lighting professionals who captured every product highlight flawlessly, and skilled makeup artists and stylists who ensured Surbhee looked polished and camera-ready—every contribution counted. We’re genuinely thankful for their expertise and effort in bringing everything together seamlessly.
The Story Behind the Serum
This QVC appearance spotlighted our Freedom of Expression Line Limiter, a product we developed to soften the appearance of fine lines and elevate skin’s elasticity — but more than that, it’s a product about empowerment. As Surbhee shared on air, it’s not just about erasing lines; it’s about honoring your story while freeing your most confident, expressive self.
When QVC host Alberti Popaj spoke about trying the product himself for three weeks and noticing the visible impact on his skin, it was a moment that genuinely moved us. Not just because it affirmed the efficacy of our formula — which is clinically backed, dermatologist-tested, and packed with high-performance ingredients like Kokum, Hibiscus Extract, Mulberry, and Lotus Flower Extract — but because someone truly understood the why behind it.
The Real Work Happens Before the Spotlight
Developing the script for the segment was a detailed and collaborative process. Surbhee went through multiple revisions to strike the right balance between clearly communicating the product’s benefits and maintaining our brand voice. Given we only had a 10-minute window, the goal was to make sure every word served a purpose—informing, engaging, and staying true to the spirit of our innovation.
Rehearsals played a critical role. From practicing delivery at home to gathering feedback from trusted colleagues, each run-through helped fine-tune timing and flow. Coordinating demo moments with precision and adjusting for last-minute changes required flexibility and attention to detail. It was a demanding process but ultimately a rewarding one that ensured she was confident and camera-ready on the day of the shoot.
