Ghee takes me back to my childhood home - of a time when we couldn’t leave the house to go out and play without having a spoonful of it.
Its soft golden hues, silky texture and flavorful aroma have not only given it a place in every Indian household but also in my memories. From the kitchen to your beauty regimen, it comes power-packed with the ability to moisturize, strengthen and heal your body from the inside out.
Pure, raw, and simple, this goodness-filled ingredient has been part of the Indian way of life for centuries - whether to drench a humble chapati or to fuel a diya that lights up an auspicious occasion. More recently, it has found its way into your bulletproof coffee. Its beauty lies in its versatility, which at once, is both, familiar and fascinating.
Indians have also been harnessing its power in the practice of Shata Dhauta Ghrita - an ancient Ayurvedic ritual where ghee was placed in a copper bowl and washed 100 times with purified water while chanting holy mantras. What came out of it worked magic for the skin.
Ghee is nothing short of liquid gold - the purest form of fat, rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9 as well as Vitamin A, D, E and K. Its smooth, soothing and nurturing texture envelopes the body in its comforting embrace, nourishing all seven layers of the skin from deep within. Its hydrating properties can be your new go-to for a natural, healthy glow.
Why not make it a part of your daily routine with our Amrutini® Collection, which, at its core is inspired by the time-honored tradition of Shata Dhauta Ghrita? A collection where vegan ghee has been intentionally fused with other ingredients and clean synthetics to strengthen your skin and lend it youth and vitality.
